Take Special Care Of Eyes In Cold

Don't take it as a normal eye problem if you have burning sensation in your eyes, blurred vision or any other kind of vision problem during the harsh winters.

These problems spread rapidly among people in the harsh winter, but instead of being a normal problem, these problems are actually symptoms of a disease called dry-eye syndrome. We cover our whole body well in this chilling weather, but one part of the body is most affected by the icy winds blowing these days, and that is our eyes.

According to doctors, there is a thin layer of fluid on the outer part of our eyes, which is very important for the health of our eyes.

But in winters, icy winds evaporate this tear film of our eyes, due to which the condition of dry-eye arises. For this reason, the eyesight is partially affected, and there is constant pain in the eyes. In winter, dry-eye syndrome usually occurs due to dry cold winds outside the house and dry heat inside the house. Lack of moisture in the eyes is very harmful for the eyes. This is a common problem occurring in winters in women and men above the age of 50 years.

Dry-eye syndrome in the eyes can also be caused by continuous use of the computer. When we are sitting in front of the computer, we should close our eyes at some time interval for half or a minute. To avoid this, an eye drop should be used three to four times a day on the advice of a doctor.

In this weather, cover your eyelids with a warm cloth for a few minutes and also take liquid drinks. According to the American Ophthalmological Association, approximately 3.2 million women and 1.7 million men over the age of 50 suffer from severe dry-eye syndrome.
